Common questions
How quickly is my server provisioned?
Self-service deployments complete in about 60 seconds. Your root password and IP addresses appear in the client area as soon as the instance boots.
Is the VPS managed or unmanaged?
By default you get full root access and we look after the hypervisor, network and hardware. Add the managed layer for OS patching, monitoring, backups and application support from our Australian engineers.
Can I resize later?
Yes. CPU, RAM and disk can be scaled up from the control panel with a single reboot, and you're only billed the pro-rata difference.
Do you offer snapshots and backups?
Every plan includes manual snapshots. Daily automated backups with 14-day retention are included from Cloud 4 up, stored in a separate Australian facility.
What operating systems can I run?
Ubuntu LTS, Debian, Rocky Linux, AlmaLinux and Windows Server (licence extra). You can also upload a custom ISO on request.
Is DDoS protection included?
Yes — always-on volumetric filtering at the network edge is included at no charge on every Australian cloud server.
