My Australian Host

About us

Australian owned, Australian hosted, since 2012

We started because Australian businesses deserved hosting that was fast locally and supported locally. That hasn't changed.

Our story

Built by sysadmins who got tired of waiting on hold

What began as a handful of servers in a Sydney rack now hosts more than 12,000 Australian websites across two states.

We invest in hardware rather than marketing. That means enterprise NVMe, redundant networks, and enough capacity headroom that a neighbour's traffic spike never becomes your problem.

Our support desk is staffed around the clock by technicians in Australia, and every one of them can read a log file and fix the actual problem.

What we stand for

Our operating principles

Onshore by default

Every server, backup and support shift sits inside Australia.

People, not scripts

You get a technician with context, not a copy-pasted macro.

No lock-in

Month-to-month billing, easy exports and a 30-day guarantee.

Efficient by design

High-density NVMe hardware in facilities running on renewables.

Our history

How we got here

  1. 1

    2012 — First rack

Two sysadmins, a half rack in Sydney and a promise to answer the phone.

  2. 2

    2016 — Melbourne region

A second Tier III facility added for redundancy and southern latency.

  3. 3

    2020 — All-NVMe

Every shared and business server rebuilt on NVMe with LiteSpeed Enterprise.

  4. 4

    2026 — 12,000 sites

Still Australian owned, still answering tickets around the clock ourselves.

Customer stories

Why customers stay

They talk to you like a person who has a business to run, not a ticket number.

We have moved hosts three times over the years. This is the first one we have not thought about leaving.

Australian owned actually means something here — the person who answers is in Brisbane, not a call centre.
